Why do I see some of my contacts several times in my contacts list in the app?

The Payconiq by Bancontact app displays your contacts exactly as they have been saved in your phonebook, internal memory and/or on your SIM card. If one of your contacts has been saved in both the internal memory and on your SIM card, then that person will appear twice on the list.

Please note: from the beginning of December 2025, it will no longer be possible to make payments via the contact list in the app.
